For the third year already, Tegeta employees unite around the “Wall of Care” and take care of making the wishes of the elderly and children come true. Creating a magical New Year for the beneficiaries of Tegeta.Care is made possible by their volunteering.

“Wall of Care” is a project that unites members of the Holding with enthusiasm around the idea of care. Christmas tree, book, new coat, toys — this is a small list of wishes that, if come true, make letter writers believe in the magic of the holiday and fill them with joy for the upcoming New Year.

The letters are placed on the “Wall of Care” until the New Year. At the end of the year, Tegeta employees gather at the wall, read the letters and distribute the wishes of the beneficiaries. They have some time to turn the wishes unfolded in the letters into gifts, and the New Year of the letter-writers - into a celebration of hopes that come true.

Tatia Khorbaladze - Head of the Strategic Communications Department of Tegeta Holding: “Wall of Care” is one of Tegeta’s favorite and remarkable activities. It has become a tradition for us to take care of those who need it the most. For the third time this year, the Holding’s large team has united with the idea of care. It was also very emotional to collect gifts and to see how enthusiastically our employees brought colourful New Year’s gifts to strangers. We are proud that this magical project already has 900 fulfilled wishes and more than 1000 mindful employees in 3 years.”

“Children’s Hospice – Firefly”, “Fund of Mothers”, “Small family-type homes of Caritas of Georgia– “Ati Mnati” (Ten Stars) and “Pirveli Sakhli” (First Home), “Harmonia” (Harmony), “Imedis Sakhli” (Home of Hope) - these are the organizations from which “Tegeta Holding” collected New Year’s wishes this year. These organizations take care of socially vulnerable children, those deprived of parental care, suffering from oncological and incurable disease, left alone elderly people with serious diseases.

This year, more than 200 employees of the company got involved in Tegeta’s New Year’s activity, individually or together with their teammates, so that in the New Year the elderly and children would not be left without the wishes that came true. The large-scale participation of Tegeta team members in the project was particularly impressive.

The final stage of the project — delivery of New Year’s gifts to the addressees — is also exercised by Tegeta. Along with these colourful gifts, the company brings hope for a happy new year and the courage to dream for letter writers.

Over the course of 3 years, “Wall of Care” united about 1000 employees of Tegeta. In total, they took care of fulfilling the pre-New Year’s wishes of more than 900 children and elderly.
