“Tegeta Academy” ends the year of 2023 with 50 international trainings

The last quarter of 2023 was particularly fruitful for Tegeta Academy. The daughter company of “Tegeta Holding” conducted 50 international trainings, which means the development of vocational education and, therefore, more qualified personnel in the auto industry. International trainings for employees of Tegeta Holding and partner companies were conducted both locally and abroad. This is proof that “Tegeta” not only carries out its main activities in the region, but also promotes the development of vocational education.

Among the 50 international trainings held, one of the most remarkable was the training held for mechanics and service personnel of MAN buses. The training was organized in Armenia and within its framework, the trainer of the German company MAN visited Yerevan together with the academy team. 25 employees of PMA were re-trained in bus maintenance and operation.

Otar Sikharulidze -Director of “Tegeta Academy”: “As it is already known to the public, “Tegeta” supplied MAN buses to Yerevan Municipality. Within the framework of the project, at the beginning of the year we arranged the training for drivers, and at the end of the year we organized MAN international training for service personnel. This training will allow us to increase the quality of service of Yerevan Municipality and minimize the time of delay of buses in service.

Another international training is also related to MAN, which “Tegeta Academy” planned together with the academies of Dubai and Ankara. We have organized several trainings in the academies of Dubai and Ankara for the employees of various companies included in “Tegeta Holding”. Mechanics, sales consultants and warranty managers arrived at the site, and thus we fulfilled MAN’s 2023 training plan.”

At the end of the year, LIEBHERR crane training was held for the employees of the engineering battalion of the Ministry of Defence. “Tegeta Academy” organized safe operation training for 19 operators and also organized a 5-days qualification-raising training in field conditions with the help of specialists invited from Azerbaijan.

The end of the year was also loaded with online seminars of brands in “Tegeta Academy”. WABCO, KNORR BREMSE, BOSCH, MOBIL, JCB, FENDT, VALTRA, MILWAUKEE, FEBI, SHELL, TEMSA, BOGE, GLASURIT, SCHAEFFLER – up to 15 trainings were held at the academy for Tegeta’s partner brands.

Otar Sikharulidze - Director of “Tegeta Academy”: “Tegeta Academy’s” technical trainers participated in all the listed international trainings, who also raised their qualifications and now they will be able to share their knowledge to the employees of different teams of the Holding.

One of the motives behind the creation of “Tegeta Academy” was that all partner brands expected a proper service standard. Therefore, it was necessary to constantly raise and share international expertise.

The number of partners of Tegeta Holding is systematically increasing, new brands are being joined to us. Therefore, without organizing similar trainings, the provision of modern equipment would be impossible.”

The plan for 2024 has already been compiled in “Tegeta Academy”. Trainings with the MAN Academy will continue next year. It should be noted that “Tegeta Academy” is also getting ready to host Porsche international training. Cooperation will endure with all partner brands of Tegeta Holding.
