Tegeta Multifunctional Complex wins prestigious corporate award

Tegeta Holding has been honored with a prestigious corporate sustainability award for its project ‘Tegeta X Volvo: Energy-Efficient Complex,’ winning in the ‘Sustainable Cities and Settlements’ category. This recognition comes as part of the Corporate Sustainability Award, organized by the Georgian Network of the UN Global Compact, which took place this year, in Georgia, for the seventh time.

The award celebrates companies that promote sustainable development through business models based on progressive and values-driven approaches. This year’s event featured panel discussions with representatives from winning companies, diplomatic figures, and international organizations.

“Energy efficiency has emerged as a top priority for Tegeta Holding. The Tegeta and Volvo multifunctional complex has been designed with modern energy efficiency standards in mind. During the construction process, great importance was placed on environmental protection, leading to sustainable decision-making. As a result, the complex fully addresses environmental challenges and integrates key areas of electrification and energy efficiency, all in full compliance with international construction standards.

The state-of-the-art, multifunctional automobile complex of Tegeta unites the Tegeta Motors and Volvo Car Georgia service centers on an area of around 1 hectare. It includes 762 solar panels, 5 electric vehicle charging stations, and uses energy-efficient products, along with a waste management system for specific waste types.
