Natia Metreveli - Pro Bono Expert of the “Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia”: “The pro bono network was established in Georgia in 2015. Pro bono is a very important form of corporate responsibility, it is the use of intellectual resources for the benefit of society, which may cover legal and IT fields, human resource management, marketing - in fact, all the components in which the company or its employee are competent. Participating in pro bono activities is extremely important, as civil organizations usually do not have and will never have such a highly paid staff that business companies have. Therefore, pro bono creates an opportunity to make high-quality, very expensive services available to civil organizations as well. “Tegeta Holding” joined the Pro Bono Network in 2022, however, in this short time the company has already made a very significant contribution to these activities.”
Since 2022, within the framework of pro bono activities exercised by “Tegeta Holding”, more than 60 social entrepreneurs have improved their knowledge in the fields of communications, social media and public relations.
Involvement of 15 employees of “Tegeta Holding” and “Tegeta Academy”, which includes a total of 105 consulting hours, was devoted to strengthening of social enterprises and public organizations.
Natika Berdzuli - Head of Strategic Communications of “Tegeta Holding”: “Over the years, “Tegeta Holding” has accumulated a profound experience in supporting public organizations and participating in pro bono projects. Active membership of the pro bono network made this process even more organized and result-oriented. We are glad that our team members are involved in all such projects with great interest and motivation and try to be part of beneficial changes with their personal intellectual resources and expertise. We believe that involvement of the private sector in such activities is very important. On the one hand, for us, pro bono services are an opportunity to be engaged in the processes of caring for society, and on the other hand, it facilitates to development of the company’s corporate responsibility with immediate involvement of our team members.”
